The Picture Car Registry is an introduction service.

The Picture Car Registry connects production companies looking for vehicles and equipment to use IN the production of their: Feature Film, TV Series, Mini-Series Etc. with registered members willing to rent their vehicles and equipment.

PCR provides the following services to all of the membership packages:

• Displays the members vehicle or equipment on the PCR website.
• Categorizes & Maintains a members vehicle or equipment on a “Searchable” Industry specific data base.
• Provides advise on
  • Daily Rental Rates
  • Insurance Requirements
  • Rental Agreements
  • Invoicing Procedures.
• How to inspect for previous damage before delivery and for new damage after being returned.
• How vehicles or equipment should be transported.
• Questions you should ask BEFORE renting your vehicle or equipment.
• Provides Downloadable PDF Files:
  • Generic Picture Car Rental Agreement.
  • Private Picture Car Rental Invoice.
  • Pre-delivery Damage Inspection Form.
  • Sample of a “Certificate of Insurance” that production companies should provide upon request.
• Verifies that any production company requesting the use of a member’s vehicle or equipment thru this service is a registered company within the province of British Columbia and is registered with the B.C. Film Commission.

The Introduction

PCR will provide the production company with a means of contacting the members thru email (phone optional) to request the availability of the members vehicle or equipment.

PCR will provide the member with the production companies Name, Address, Office Phone #, Office Email, Production Managers Name, Transportation Coordinators Name, Picture Car Coordinators Name and phone number, the Working Title, and the Rental Rate being offered, when a request for the members vehicle or equipment is made.
